According to the DMV there is no legal weight limit for letting kids sit in the front seat (although some states suggest 60 pounds). PA DMV does say kids under 4 need to be in a car seat ad kids 4-8 need to be in a booster seat, so to sit in the front seat you need to be 9 or older. Also most cars with a passenger side airbag need to be over the age of 12.
